There are a number of reputed educational institutes in close proximity to the site, such as D.A.V., D.P.S., Hindu School & College, Swarnprasth School, Gateway International School, Bright Home School, G.V.M. Girls College, Rai Sports School, Hindu Polytechnic, Hindu Institute of Management, B.M. Engineering College and Murthal Engineering College.
Rajiv Gandhi Education City (RGEC), being developed at Kundli in Sonepat over an area of 5000 acres, is planned to house world-class universities offering modern and job-oriented courses in avionics, environmental sciences, biomedical engineering, medical robotics, information technology, artificial intelligence, management & finance, textile technology, biotechnology, nanotechnology, defence research, art & cultural studies, film & media studies, habitat studies, pure sciences and fashion technology.
The first Women’s University at Khanpur Kalan (Sonepat) was established in 2006.
Good medical facilities are available at Civil Hospital, Bharat Hospital, Janki Das Memorial Hospital and other healthcare institutions, which are located at a distance of around 2 kilometres from the site.
The area is very well connected by both rail and road transport. There are a number of shuttle train services from Delhi, and several important trains running from Delhi to Amritsar and Jammu have stoppages at nearby Sonepat.
The site is also very well connected by road transport through National Highway No. 1, providing convenient access to Delhi and other adjoining areas.
