Rail Vihar, Kota is being developed on 12.87 acres (52,100 sqm) of leasehold land (from UIT Kota) at Borkheda, Kota at a distance of approx. 4 km from main Kota Railway Station. The scheme was initially launched in 2014 and modified for construction of 113 single-storey dwelling units comprising of Type K-IV/A (25 units), Type K-IV (23 units), Type K-III (52 units) and Type K-II (13 units). The plans are approved by UIT Kota and works are already in progress.
The project includes independent water supply, sewerage and drainage systems along with electrification for the entire residential scheme. Dwelling units are planned for optimal ventilation and natural light. Community Centre, shopping complex and a landscaped green park form part of the scheme. Sale of 54 developed plots of land was launched on 22-05-2017.
